The positive side: The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Location is great! The negative: The basic price was $129, then comes the extras! I paid a little over $170 for a night's stay in this hotel. Parking is $18 plus tax to park in the hotel garage! The room is nice, but obviously in need of some updating. The lack of electrical outlets was one problem. When I pulled the nightstand out to see if there was one available, I found an extension cord over loaded with lamps, etc.. plugged in. It seemed a little like a fire hazard. Overall, the hotel was okay, but NOT worth the price attached to it.

I enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn Express - Downtown. It is within walking distance to dwontown attractions such as all the music bars on Broadway, The Ryman, Second Ave. and the Country Music Hall of Fame. My stay was nice two years ago and am stayin hear again in Mid March 2006.
